Obilježavajući prvu godišnjicu rada American Corner Vukovar je u utorak, 18. ožujka 2014. organizirao predavanje na engleskom jeziku za učenike viših razreda osnovnih škola, pod nazivom Snapshot USA, koje je održala koordinatorica Kutka i djelatnica Gradske knjižnice Vukovar Vukovar, Anita Baier Jakovac. Učenici naše škole bili su na predavanju i prigodnoj proslavi.

When we learn something interesting,we remember it for the whole life. That happened at American Corner Vukovar. We learned interesting, smart and serious things  about American flag, people, culture and many other things. I think that can help us in our lives. I wish to go to United States of America when I grow up to learn more. I got a small American flag there and I will keep it forever. After the lecture we had a small celebration eating a delicious chocolate cake. It was great there, I really enjoyed. I wish I could go to the library again. We took some photos to remember those happy hours.
